Cruise Director
I have a job
About me

Despite my French surname, Becque (pronounced Beck) I was born in Dover, England. I have been on stage since the age of 10, performed in London and travelled Europe in various productions for the National Youth Theatre, and studied my craft professionally by working for a local Repertory Theatre Company.

In 1986, I headed for the Caribbean to work for Costa Cruises as an entertainer and cruise staff member, very much like being a "Red Coat" at sea. This experience rocked my world! The passengers clearly enjoyed my enthusiastic personality, which also made me a big hit with the crew. After completing a 2-year apprenticeship, at just 22, I became the youngest Cruise Director in the world.

After 6 amazing years at sea, I took my webbed-feet ashore and moved to Los Angeles, to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Art. After graduating, I appeared in various theatre productions, including a six-month run of "Wuthering Heights" and August Strindberg's "Miss Julie" whilst working on two projects for Universal
