My responsibilities Carrying out Operation, Maintenance and trouble shootings on Communication (GMDSS) and Navigational Equipments on board Ships like Sat-B/C/M, MF/HF DSC & VHF DSC with Transreceiver, Walking Talking, EPIRB & SART. Checking all documents/Certificates of incoming Crew as per STCW-95 Rules and Medical fitness Certificates. In charge of catering on board vessel. Assist ship’s Captain for his day-to-day commercial works on board the vessel. Making various Files/folders for different use on board as per ISM/SMS. Assist to Captain for port state control inspections and various statutory vessel surveys. Attending Customs, Immigration, Port Health and other Shipping Authorities.
