many crew post topics here for find a job, but i think it's no useful because companies never come here to see what we posted.i am a 3rd mate with experiences on container ship.

Well I didn't hear about anyone who managed to find a job through this site I don't try to say it is useless though. Any way we should try to find decent offers despite anything.

I agree, to you Cdt, this forum is for public business, we can't condemn directly to anyone because we are a seaman and not a companies,I'm A C/E for long time and very wide experienced Gantry Crane & Tug boat.but can't condemn. This Forum for anybody you want to say something not to hurt other people.

I believe it`s quite difficult to get a job here. From other side I`m here because the company I was interested suggested me to visit this site and register.Visit the company web page and try to find a link to recruitement, online application etc. This is the best way for jobfinder. Good luck! :)

I agree with mate Artis but only in 50%. For me myship looks the best for jobfinders because all company details are in one place and there's a bigger change that a company will reply to your message through this site. I'm stating this from my own experience, though. :)

well I really do agree with you both officers, I'm just only a Deck Cadet, I hope that a year contract for me as an apprentice mate could help me to find a job much better after I finished. I salute you as what you are, as a seafarer,., mabuhay!!!!!!!!!!

Don't give up!I was contacted, offered a new position and am now with a new company and I am 59 years old!If you have the experience and qualifications a job is out there!

For me this is just a common site where we can connect & share information we have. We can use this site to help other seafarers out there that badly needed a job by endorsing them or telling them where to start. In some way or another, I think this is useful! c",)

It is not difficult to get a job here if you have qualifications and experience, BUT be aware of preferred nationality. I just find and got a job after only 3 days on this web page.
