"I do believe that MyShip.com is the first website that meets the seamen dream, which due to the specific nature of the profession, was unattainable thus far"...Indeed, I am very grateful to be a member of this site  because I have the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas..It is also a way to share your experiences as a seafarer and be able to inspire everyone who dreams to become one of them...just like me..L_o_L...(",)___

my Question for this form is "STCW Manila amendment" is worth for us? IMO started  Go to Sea! campaign in 2008, but still they amend Manila amendment. which do make seafarers to spend lots of money to re validate thr certificates. its good for maritime colleges and institutes. They can make good money out of it. but as a view of seafarer its is useless measure but still we have to comply.. wht do you think amigos?

Onboard Tug Istria
re-validation of several certificates can be very costly for seafarers, take into consideration travel, accommodation, plus cost of courses. Too expensive.
