I would like to ask for an advice to everyone here who might be able to help.
My case is that I graduated as an associate in marine transportation leading to BSMT and that was long ago,to be exact it was in the year 1995.
I did not applied for an apprenticeship that time because I bacame preoccupied for my newly found business back then, Now I am forty three (43) years old but still very fit to work aboard ship.
My question is that am I still qualified to work if I will apply being a seaman at any agency in Manila being a deck cadet or whatever position I can be qualified?
I have put this query because aboard ship is still in my dream besides I need to work with a little more income for my families support.
I also knows people worked as seamen for the first time above 40's of age,they even say that there is no age issue anymore when one apply as a seaman. What will be the steps to do for me to be able to work.
Please help me and give me advice. Thank you in advance! STON
